Synopsis: Eric & Oliver is a romantic short film following two queer college students, Eric, a family-oriented, hard-working, introvert, and Oliver, a confident, laid-back, empath as they fall in love while touching on issues of acceptance within the queer community. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Bio: Dylan S. Baker is a 19-year-old sophomore TV/Film Major at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA, and was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been on set for 40+ short films, ranging from a Production Assistant all the way up the ladder to Director. Dylan’s primary focuses in filmmaking are Writing, Directing, Cinematography and even Acting. He is also the assistant producer of the 24th annual DeSales University Film Festival and is projected to be the head producer in 2026. Eric & Oliver is my first professionally made short film since being in college, and It was really important for me to see a queer story about love and acceptance told in this way. This film is extremely important to me because it tells the story of my own personal journey with acceptance from my parents when I came out to them. I really hope this film helps someone out there like me feel seen and heard because, at the end of the day, we all just want to be accepted and loved for who we are.
